Update :)

Well, it's been almost a year, and I've not posted anything since the second time I posted ever. lol. I've been taking some photos of what I've been crafting on and am going to give an update on works completed and what I'm currently working on now.

First up is the socks I knit for my mom. She picked out the yarn when she was last up here with Heather over Mother's Day weekend. We went to a rainy NHS&W festival, and at Heather Sereknity's booth, I asked my mom to pick out a color she liked and I would knit her a pair of socks. I used the Knitty pattern, Spring Forward, which I had already done once before during my sock swap, so knitting these was a breeze.

This one is some fabric I bought recently along with a pattern to make a Market Tote. Starting cutting out the fabric today. Maybe I'll finish sewing it tonight?

This is my knitted eqyptian mittens, free pattern from ravelry. I have completed the pair, haven't blocked yet though. In this picture the thumbs not done, will have to get a better pic.

This is my sudoko quilt. Here is the pic is the quilt top assembled. At least from a distance my seams look straight! lol. This weekend I went out to candlelight quilts and picked up a piece of flannel to use as the backing. I also added an two borders to it. The inner border, about 1inch, is in the green fabric and the outer border, about 3 inches is in the swirly pink fabric. I'm going to use the brown with pink flowers as the binding. This was supposed tobe the backing, but the piece provided in the kit was not big enough. :( No worries, that just gave me a excuse to go buy some nice flannel to back it with, so it will be nice an snuggly. I already have reached out to someone to quilt it for me, for short $, so wanted to get it all set to quilt by July 1st when I see her.

Last but not least, I went to my first game at Fenway, Red Soxs v Phillies, and the stadium was pretty cool, but unfortuantely my guys lost. I had seats in a private suite and was absolutely spoiled, so not sure how I'm gonna ever not sit like that at a ballpark again! There was a flat screen tv in the bathroom so that you didn't miss the game. haha, not to mention the amount of food and beverage just kept coming and coming.
